Hi!

Some updates for everyone regarding Lap Challenge and Parent Meeting:

1. For Lap Challenge, there are prizes available!

- When you share the Lap Challenge betterworld page on social media, send me a screenshot to be entered into a raffle for a $10 Starbucks gift card!

- The two swimmers who get the most donations/pledges will receive a basket with team merchandise and a snack bar gift card, good for the snack bar at home meets.

- Every swimmer who raises over $100 in combined lap pledges and donations will be entered into a raffle for a $25 snack bar gift card, good for home meets

Entries accepted until 6pm on 5/15 and winners will be chosen and notified on 5/16.

2. Parent Meeting will be held at 7pm on Monday 5/12 in the Pat O'Brien conference room. New families and anyone else with questions are recommended to attend.

Dry February

Reminder to all swimmers that the February is a "Dry Month" meaning swimmers cannot be in the pool receiving ANY kind of instruction if your swimmer plans to participate in summer recreation league. Doing so may jeopardize a swimmer's eligibility. If you are currently swimming on a year-round team, please cancel your membership by January 31. What is “Dry February”? Swimmers may not follow written instructions and/or practice on their own. Parents/other relatives/friends/ coaches are not permitted to give instruction from the pool deck. Water safety/learn to swim classes are not permitted in February. Exceptions to “Dry February”: High School swimmers may practice with their High School teams Intercollegiate (junior college, community college, college or university) swimming teams; Water polo or synchronized swimming teams practice
