NUGGET CHAMPS
Wackford Aquatic Complex - 9014 Bruceville Rd, Elk Grove
Warm-up: 6:30 AM

Check-in is at 6:30 in the morning for both days!!!

On Saturday, they will run preliminaries for events 1-32 (individual medly, short freestyle, and backstroke). Then there will be a short break. After the break they will run the finals for those events and then the medley relays.

Finals are made up of the 8 fastest preliminary times for each event.

Events for 6 & Unders are on Saturday only.

Sunday works much the same way: preliminaries for events 44-73 (long free, breaststroke, fly). Then a short break followed by the finals of events 44-73 plus the free relays.

Again, finals are made up of the 8 fastest preliminary times for each event.

Once you have determined that your swimmer is NOT in the Final Relay, you are free to leave. Please do not leave the meet without checking with the coach or board member to verify your swimmer is or is not in a Relay. A missing swimmer will cause a relay team to scratch and forfeit any chance for team points or individual medals.

Don't forget your team suit, goggles, sunscreen, towels (extra encouraged), water, healthy snacks/fruit, material to keep child occupied during events, and let's not forget your positive attitude and good sportsmanship!

Optional/suggested items: Pop-up tents, parkas/jackets, blankets (esp. for the chilly morning hours), money for snack stand items.

Please remind swimmers to exercise good sportsmanship by waiting in the pool until the last swimmer arrives at the finishing wall --- and congratulate your neighbor swimmmer with a "great swim" or "good job".

Also remember that NO ALCHOLIC beverages are allowed and we advise to keep all pets at home for everyone's safety.

Plan on the meet lasting until 5:00pm each day.
